Welcome to the Winter Park Boat Parade & Festival of Lights

The Winter Park Boat Parade & Festival of Lights will be a fun, communitywide water parade complete with decorated backyards, docks, and boats, all garnished in holiday lights and decor. It will be a time where families and friends will gather in their backyards, Dinky Dock, or The Albin Polasek Museum to view the impressive, local creativity of residents and local business sponsors.

Boat Contest — All Winter Park licensed boat owners are invited to enter their boat in the event. The fee for boat entry is $50 per residential boat. All registered boats will be judged by a local panel of notable Winter Park residents. Winning boats will be awarded prizes donated by local businesses based on the Best Overall Boat and the Best Holiday-themed Boat.

Maximum boat sizes are as follows:
- 21 feet in length for regular boats, 8 feet wide
- 24 feet in length for pontoon boats, 8 feet wide

WAIVER OF LIABILITY - The undersigned hereby requests the right to enter the above described Winter Park Boat Parade, sponsored by the Winter Park Boat Parade Committee with the approval of the City of Winter Park. In the consideration for being granted the right to enter such a Parade, the undersigned hereby assumes all risks on behalf of the undersigned and all persons assisting, accompanying, or otherwise associated with the undersigned incident to such Winter Park Boat Parade, and agrees that neither the City of Winter Park, Winter Park Boat Parade Committee, other sponsors, the County of Orange, the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce, the State of Florida, nor any of the Officers, Employees, or Agents of such bodies shall be liable for any damage, or injury arising out of, or incident to said Winter Park Boat Parade incurred by any of the above persons. For the same consideration, the undersigned agrees to save and hold harmless, the aforesaid bodies, their Officers, Employees, and Agents from any action or claim for damages arising out of, or incidents to, the activities of the undersigned in said Parade filed by or on behalf of the aforementioned persons.
