Boats decorated in holiday cheer will illuminate Lakes Virginia and Osceola as they cruise in the second annual water parade. Local families and residents can watch by moonlight from Dinky Dock, The Albin Polasek Museum, or their backyards.

WHAT:         The Winter Park Boat Parade & Festival of Lights is a fun, communitywide water parade of boats on Lakes Osceola and Virginia in Winter Park. From their lakeside backyards, Dinky Dock, or The Albin Polasek Museum, viewers will watch the impressive holiday boat and dock decorations, created by residents and local business sponsors.

The boat parade will start in the Windsong Cove in Lake Virginia (east side) and tour clockwise, passing Rollins College and Dinky Dock. The parade will travel through Fern Canal and into Lake Osceola, first passing The Albin Polasek Museum and then moving clockwise around Lake Osceola.
WHO:         Owners and corporate sponsors will decorate their boats in a holiday theme, complete with bright lights, holiday costumes, and festive music. Winter Park lakeside residents are also invited to decorate their docks. Boats and docks will be judged by local celebrity judges and awarded prizes.

Corporate sponsors include: Dynetech Corporation, The Albin Polasek Museum, the City of Winter Park, and the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce.

Boat parade viewing party: The Albin Polasek Museum is hosting a boat parade viewing party with live entertainment and concessions. Live musical performances will begin at 5:00 p.m. and light food and beverages will be available. The Albin Polasek Museum is located at 633 Osceola Avenue, Winter Park.
